Hello, I hope that im posting this in the right forum.... I was bidding on a used copy of Guild Wars when I relised that hte acct. number would already be used. Will I be able to use this acct number again or what? I didnt win the bid but really want to play this game so was just courous if anyone out there has bought a used copy from ebay.... thanks for any help

You probably can't buy a used copy unless you are buying it from a friend or something. There really isn't a way of knowing that the account number will be used or not, and if it is already being used there is nothing Anet can do about it.

I'd say just spend the $50 and get the game.

Buying a second hand account is against the EULA. I'd really recommend NOT buying off the internet (Ebay) there's way too much chance of being scammed. Unless the game is unused I'd say you really need to go to the store and buy a new copy. If you buy used, you run the chance of loosing your money.

Would buying a used copy from somewhere like EB games be safe?
